MARK LANDIS DECIDED ONE DAY TO BE A PHILANTHROPIST.
Extremely gifted at a young age, Landis noticed the admiration art donors received and wanted to make his mother proud. For nearly three decades institutions such as the Smithsonian, the White House, and many others never certified authentication, overwhelmed blindly with gratitude for the generous donations. Some of the great master’s replicated include; Henri Matisse, Degas, Balthus, and Leonardo da Vinci’s Salvator Mundi.
ART + ETHICS
Mark Landis’ intention may have been seemingly selfish, but
within that search, he was able to share some of the greatest masterpieces of all time with places respected for their ethical obligation to preserve history.
Indeed a great irony of the age of intelligence.
